beTWatch: The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gathering the tribes of Wakanda again as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever landing on Disney+.
Ryan Coogler returned to the director’s chair for the 2018 follow-up Black pantherfollowing the tragic death of star Chadwick Boseman.
The film had the honor of concluding Phase 4 of the MCU before we move on to the conclusion of Phase 5. Blade, Thunderboltsand others.
As the film finally becomes available to stream, here’s everything you need to know Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever thrown
Despite Boseman’s death leaving a hole in the Wakanda forever cast, there is a mix of old and new faces to honor his legacy.
First up, Letitia Wright is back as Shuri: T’Challa’s inventive sister who created her older brother’s suit in the first film.
Keeping the family ties, Angela Bassett also returns as Queen Rammonda, widow of King T’Chaka and current ruler of Wakanda.
There’s also more from Nakia Lupita Nyong’o, who was T’Challa’s love interest in the first film.
Danai Gurira returns as fearsome Okoye to lead the all-female warriors Dora Milaje. Martin Freeman reprises his role as CIA operative Everett Ross, and Winston Duke reprises his role as M’Baku, the leader of the Jabari tribe.
In terms of newcomers, Tenoch Huerta has joined as the much-hyped Namor. Known as the first Marvel mutant, Namor the Submarine predates Marvel Comics alongside the original Human Torch and Captain America as one of Timely Comics’ ‘big three’.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Namor, with an easter egg in the 2010s Iron man 2 game referring to Namor’s homeland of Atlantis.
Namor’s ties to Black Panther were confirmed in Avengers: Endgame when Okoye referred to the handling of a series of deep-sea earthquakes off the coast of Africa. Writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus confirmed that it was a tease of Namor.
Finally, Riri Williams, Dominique Thorn, is on first. With a great look at the character in the trailer, we see her honoring her legacy as the next Iron Man by making her own suit. Tony Stark is a subtle throwback to Robert Downey Jr doing the same thing in 2008 Iron man.
Iron heart she will be getting her own Disney+ show in the near future.
Michaela Coel also joins the MCU as Aneka, the woman who trained the Dora Milaje.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever release date
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever It’s out on Disney+ now.
To say Wakanda forever if his production was troubled would be an understatement. Although Kevin Feige officially confirmed Game Black Panther 2 online at Comic-Con 2019, plans were irrevocably changed when Boseman died in August 2020.
He was tapped to return for a trilogy Black panther films, however, his death coming after Coogler has already turned in the first draft for Game Black Panther 2 online That meant he had to adapt to deal with his death.
Feige quickly scrapped the idea of recasting T’Challa, and Coogler left to refine his script. At this point, the release has been moved from May 2022 to July 8.
Despite Boseman’s death, the film was pushed back just three months to June 2021.
The film faced additional complications including Wright being injured on set, COVID restrictions, and Lupita Nyong’o testing positive for the virus.
Wakanda forever’The theatrical release has been delayed again until November 11, 2022.
